Week of January 16 through January 22, 2022.

#1 ◱ Don and Scott are analyzing the generator to see why it stopped running after an hour. This is also the "before" for the East garden.

#2 ◱ I paid some nice workers to come clean up the East garden. This is what it looked like after.

#3 ◱ The workers also dug out a hazelnut tree and so Lois dug a hole and planted it today. Don also moved some more potting soil for it.

#4 ◱ Lois did a taste test trial for three kinds of mashed potatoes. The recipes were exactly the same. Don couldn't tell the difference in his blind taste test between the three. One was slightly yellowish compared to the other two. Lois couldn't tell the difference in taste, except the yellowish one seemed slightly creamier. So if you use boxed mashed potatoes, we would just use the cheapest one of these three.

#6 ◱ Don is shoveling gravel on the road

#7 ◱ Don is dumping gravel and load is spreading it.

#8 ◱ Don is putting gravel in the East garden.

#9 ◱ Such fun work putting more gravel on the road.

#10 ◱ Lois is done.

#11 ◱ Box of 256 bulbs had arrived.

#12 ◱ Bulbs sorted and ready to plant.

#13 ◱ The Sisters came and helped plant 150 bulbs.

#14 ◱ A snail visited and is still someplace.

#15 ◱ Lois planting bulbs.

#16 ◱ This is why Lois has to keep up the deep knew bends.

#17 ◱ Don brought chain to help make the koi hanging easier.
