Lois bought two shopping carts of flowers, 1/2 cart of vegetables, and 2 ten pounds bags of fertilizer. She is hoping to have a pretty yard this year. Almost all the flowers are perennials so she is hoping they spread and come back year after year.

Chiffon is still in her box with the two Copper Maran chicks, but when we gave the two chicks to Black West, Chiffon heard it chirping and thought she had lost a chick. So she started calling it. Somewhere in the night we lost a chick. Neither mother had it in the morning.

One of Black East's golden Sexlink died or got smashed. Black East was a good mama though and still has her second chick.

Black West's chick I thought was dead and so I picked it up and it started chirping. I took it into the house to hopefully raise it myself, but it died after a couple of hours.
