Week of January 12 through January 18, 2020

#1 ◱ The water is backing up again into the Glen. I don't like that and we need Bessie to bush wack through the blackberry vines to see what the problem is.

#2 ◱ Kili and the sheep.

#3 ◱ Don is screwing down chicken roosting bars.

#4 ◱ Don is screwing down chicken roosting bars.

#5 ◱ Don is screwing and Lois is supporting.

#6 ◱ Don is testing the high rise to see if a chicken might like it.

#7 ◱ Don is screwing the new high rise together and we got it on top of the old coop.

#8 ◱ You can see how high some of the screws are.

#9 ◱ The roosting bars go quite a way up.

#10 ◱ A Deleware checks out what we are doing.

#11 ◱ This is what the finished high rise looks like.

#12 ◱ A whole bunch of chickens don't know what to do.

#13 ◱ They are still sitting in the wall, which is fine. A three are sitting on the poop tray and I was hoping they would keep going up.

#14 ◱ The chickens are so clever. They have learned to go up over a wall to get to the nesting boxes that I blocked off so that they couldn't roost in them. It is great and the eggs are much cleaner. Maybe now when I clean the boxes they will stay somewhat clean.

#21 ◱ New trees are now planted in the Outpost area.

#22 ◱ Joseph is moving apple trees that he will plant in the back of the property.
