#1 ◱ Eating refreshments after Kili's first piano recital.

#2 ◱ Mama Tutu and baby Honey: No, we are not interested in the horses.

#3 ◱ The sheep seem to be getting along okay.

#4 ◱ Baby Honey goes for a meal.

#5 ◱ Yum. Grass.

#6 ◱ Mama eats grass. Baby investigates the strange woman with the camera.

#7 ◱ Smells like a hand. I am not sure I like to eat "hand."

#8 ◱ Horse is willing to come for a photo op, especially if you bring a handful of grass.

#11 ◱ The other two horses stay away. The one with the red blanket is the Alpha Female, so she gets to eat first.

#12 ◱ Joseph cuts down the weeds near Sunflower Hill with our trusty brush mower, Betsie.

#14 ◱ Strange that it is hanging out in the same spot as last time.

#15 ◱ Maybe it likes this spot because there is a better supply of mice to eat.

#17 ◱ Meanwhile, back in the Picnic Area, Joseph is cleaning out the tall weeds around the play structure. And leveling the mud while it is still easy to level.

#18 ◱ The mud is where the trench was put in. But with it smoothed out, the grass can grow and nobody will even know that we dug there.

#19 ◱ More ground leveling.

#20 ◱ And this is the "bathtub" tree. We found an old bathtub in the undergrowth.

#27 ◱ More gravel for Joseph to spread. This is a load of 1 1/2 inch open quarry, 15 tons per load.

#28 ◱ Rock being dumped in a big pile so Joseph can move it to where it is needed.

#29 ◱ Yikes. Goldie has a flat tire. The "bead" broke, and the tubeless tire is flat. All the juice is apparently beet juice, put in the tire to make it heavier so the tractor gets more traction, but does not freeze like water would.

#32 ◱ Joseph surveys the situation.

#35 ◱ Don works on the bolts that hold the flat tire on Goldie. Don is not good for much, but at least he can do something once in a while.

#36 ◱ Good view of the tire and the 3.5 ton jack that Joseph used to get the tire up in the air.

#37 ◱ Joseph built some gates. Here is Goldie, sitting in front of a gate, to make sure that she can drive right through when we want her to.

#38 ◱ Here is a nice, wide gate, before being installed. This is on the west side of Cherry block, near the hydrant we call Middle Earth.

#39 ◱ Joseph is smoothing out the mud on the east side of the Greenhouse before it dries and gets hard.

#40 ◱ Joseph is putting together a couple of raised beds where Lois will think of something to plant.
