#8 ◱ Joseph and Akiko picked out two fig trees.

#9 ◱ Joseph planted the fig trees.

#12 ◱ What are these? They look like they are part of the cherry family, but they don't look like cherries, exactly.

#13 ◱ The deer ate the delphinium down about 2/3rds, so Joseph fenced off the area. We want it pretty for the wedding, not eaten. The deer typically eat all these roses also.

#15 ◱ I thought this would be the first rose, but it still hasn't bloomed. Maybe this week. :-)

#16 ◱ Second rose to bloom. It's nice that it has orange in it.

#17 ◱ Joseph unloading wood for the chicken coop.

#18 ◱ Joseph filling in potting soil mix into the log circle on the island. Lois is making a large planter box with the tree disks that were lying all over.

#19 ◱ It took took Goliath the backhoe loads to fill the circle.

#20 ◱ It is so nice to have our "little tool", Goliath.

#22 ◱ Since orange is the wedding color, there are more orange flowers than usual.

#23 ◱ Hopefully all the flowers will be still in bloom in June and not eaten by the deer.

#26 ◱ Can you see Goliath the backhoe playing? How can something so big, be so little. It is in the shadows, about mid-picture.

#27 ◱ Don and Joseph got the fencing out of the south perimeter road. Now Betsie can go through there. :-)

#29 ◱ Out of 30 feet of iris, I have one flower. Is that weird?
