We start removing the paneling from the diagonal wall. Don has a crow bar.

Voila! The paneling is removed. Lois hunted down some drawers and we tossed a banquet table on top of them. Without the paneling the wall is very open and the whole room feels a lot bigger.

Don make an upswing with the sledge hammer to remove the top of the cupboard.

The cupboard seems to be in pretty good shape. We re-homed the cupboard over to the diagonal wall where it can provide some food-serving space.
